Review from my 13-year old: 5 star food, 5 star service, 5 star environment. Total 20 star restaurant. Review from me: kind staff that calls you "hon." So much of their food is made from total scratch (all the breads, biscuits, sauces, dressing). They serve breakfast all day, but do stop serving pancakes at 11. Recommend for sure! Thanks for having us!

Our food here was incredible. Legit salmon hash and homemade bread for toast, with fresh fruit jam. Yummy homemade cinnamon roll too. Big servings, GREAT food.

Off the beaten path. but easy to find. We stumbled upon Fishtails Cafe before going to the Aquarium. What a treat. Fresh menu with really good seafood options! We did breakfast, and it was GOOD. The wife had Crab Cakes and eggs, and the crab was so fresh. I opted for the Oysters with Sunny-Side up eggs. Kind of a snot plate - but it was AMAZING. The little Customer Service survey was a joy - no email, no pestering, just a paper handout with typed questions. Our favorite was: Food: Dog wouldn't eat it, Dog would eat it, Cat might eat it, Kids would eat it, Delicious, I will come back and eat it again. This made us laugh!

Super chill little cafe wasn’t over whelming which is what I appreciated especially with an autistic son! Food was bomb ! Waitress super sweet! Definately a mom and pop shop (which I adore) and idk if he was the cook or what but. He was nice to take ganders at

Cute little diner off the main path. Had to come here to try the famous marionberry French toast. The marionberry sauce was like a cobbler and absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and full of berry flavor. My only ask is that the bread be soaked longer in the batter. Or soaked before doing the cream cheese. The inside was just bread, and not the custardy French toast I was hoping for.

Wonderful food and service!! Family owned and operated for 3 generations! Very filling and enjoyable food. Only thing that would have improved my experience was beverage options. Got coffee that was out of ratio. 1 small creamer "shot" had it very blonde and a light tan. I didn't see any tea options or other hot beverages on the menu, may have been on the back page. Never made it that far.

When I think of local restaurant and local flare, I'm thinking this type of restaurant. The interior is eclectic with its decorations. Alaina (sp?) was our server and she was so personable and a compliment to the restaurant. Plus she's a great singer! We asked if we could try their chowder as we had heard it was just made for today. This was by far the top 5 taste-wise and beats the commercial restaurants. They won the Feb people's choice award in the chowder competition. It's creamy, full of tender clams, right amount of seasoning to complement. Top 1 or 2 we've ever tried! Cinnamon roll was tender, heavy on cinnamon (which we love), frosting was sweet but not too much. Westside scrabbler with spinach and sausage and homemade red potatoes - potatoes were hand cut, seasoned perfect, omelet was tender - delicious food! Oyster breakfast, oysters were large, tender and flavorful. Hand shredded potatoes for hashbrowns. Marionberry jam was perfectly tart and sweet. Yum! We loved the cloth napkins that added to the atmosphere. This is probably a place cherished by locals, but definitely should be on your list of places if looking for honest, delicious, local food.

We came in during spring break with a large group of 8 ,there were only two people working so we were thinking we should find somewhere else to eat, we are so glad we stayed! The waitress was amazing ( wish I could remember her name!) and got every order correct and food arrived in good time. The food was awesome! The bread was DELICIOUS I would go back daily just for the bread - but the rest of the food was just as wonderful. Definitely will be going again!!
